Dewey by Vicki Myron and bags of books!

Last night I finished Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat who Touched the World by Vicki Myron. I had first started this a few months ago and then put it down to read something else but after getting tired of moving it around on my side table I picked it up a few days ago to finally finish it.  I have mixed feelings about this book, it was enjoyable and a lovely tale but I did find my attention wandering. However I do want to say that this could be through no fault of the book, I am a bit obsessed with getting through the books this week to make up for the past few weeks of not really reading! If you are a lover of books about books and libraries then I am sure you will enjoy this one.

However next is exciting news- today I am picking up some bags of books from a lady who put them on freecycle! So excited! I have no idea what books they will be but she says it is a range of horror and modern fiction. I haven’t got a clue where I am going to put them but hey I will deal with that when we get to it! Will update later with a list of the haul:)
